It’s difficult to face
some days.
Yesterday was like that
simply
because I was face-to-face
with my [faithless and revolting] need
for Substance.
And I vowed,
again, as I do many days
to offer my need to God, the ultimate Other,
asking for a filling.
I need a filling dear Lord, I need a filling.
